1. Starting with letting me load money and pay from the app. That would be valuable. 2. Having an app that did more than request an email for marketing purposes so that I can receive special offers there, or that shows me information I could otherwise look up on Google is not a value to me and a waste of space on my phone. 3. If you have the ability to pay from the app, and it would register my punches for me, that would be a value. 4. It is cluttered from the home screen to the menu. -I dont want messages displayed to me at the top every time I open the app - What use is a menu that is primarily made up of tutorials? If you need that much space dedicated to tutorials on how to use your app, then you need to simplify your app. Period. -Do you have a clear path with what you are wanting to accomplish with this app? Or is it just an attempt to stay relevant and say "We are McDonalds. We have an app."? 5. Your email confirmation email is less than satisfying. I just signed up for your app and made a decision to give you access to my time, my activities, my browsing habits - I chose to let you in to my and examine my life...that is a sacred thing...and the best you can do is "Thank you for downloading the McDonalds Mobile App" Then you threw a logo on it and sent it my way. Where is the thank you for activating my account? Is my time and my information and every other persons information who downloaded this app and provided you our email addresses not valuable to you? You cant even send a thank you for activating and welcome to McDonalds? Even if you would have slapped another logo on that one, it would have been a step in the right direction. Until these features are available, then this all is not worth the sudden late game appearance McDonalds is deciding to make in to the marketing world of mobile technology. And if you cant send me a simple thank you for activating my account, and if it is not worth it to you, then this app is not worth my time.
