Bad even for McDonalds... and thats saying a lot

This is the worst app I have ever seen. I downloaded it because I have crafty teenagers who read about National French Fry day, and a deal in the McDonalds app for free fries if you download the app.

I got the app and deleted it in under 5 minutes. It requires you to allow location services in order to give you deals. That is to say, that although there is an option to enter your own ZIP Code and select a store based on what you have *chosen to* share, they will not use it for the purposes of sharing deals with you. Big brother McDonalds wants to know where you are in order to show you deals, and will not allow you to give a ZIP Code in lieu of sharing your location information. Thanks but no thanks...
